Clare’s Green Party senator is calling on the county council to limit the use of campaign posters during the election period.
With the local election campaign starting up in the coming months, concerns have been raised about the littered in rural and urban areas caused by the TD posters.

The local authority has the ability to use by-law powers to limit excessive use of the traditional poster in the local and European elections.
Inagh-based representative, Roisin Garvey says the unwanted advertisement is leading to excessive litter.
