Clare’s Green Senator says ongoing ambulance delays in this county are ‘appalling’.

It’s after controversy arose last weekend in Cusack Park, where Inagh-Kilnamona’s Jason McCarthy was left waiting for an hour having been injured during a senior hurling quarter-final with Eire Og.

It’s prompted fresh concerns about ambulance wait times in this county, with the incident being the latest in a line of delays in recent years.

Speaking in the Seanad, Inagh-based Senator Roisin Garvey says the issue needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency.
