Clare’s Green Party Senator is calling for more adolescent mental health supports for people in the North of the county.
It’s understood the North West Clare Family Resource Centre, based in Ennistymon, spends around 30,000 euro a year on such services, with only around 15 percent of that coming from Tusla.

The facility is said to have received no extra funding to provide affordable counselling services since the onset of the pandemic.
Inagh-based Senator Roisin Garvey says this needs to change, with children and teenagers suffering from increased anxiety and stress.
