Clare’s Green Party senator is calling on the public to do all they can to offset their carbon emissions.
It comes as a new government measure coming into effect next month will see the vat rate for the installation of solar panels on private dwellings reduced to zero.

An event will be held at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis tomorrow night informing the public on how to install and apply for funding for photo-voltaic solar panels.
Event Organiser & Inagh based Senator Roisín Garvey says there has never been a better time for the people of Clare to go solar.
