Clare could be in line for a countywide housing expansion following a significant funding boost.
It comes as Clare County Council has been allocated €2.5m under the third call of the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund.

Ten vacant and derelict properties were approved for the grant in Clare and its estimated the resulting works could deliver up to 34 residential units.
It marks a total nationwide investment of €142.5m from the Department of Housing, which is predicted to bring over 5,400 homes to market.
