A ballot on the Labour Court proposal will take place next Friday, and the group representating rank and file Gardai has decided not make a recommendation on whether it should be accepted.
It's thought the proposal could be worth around 3,000 euro extra per year.
Ennis-based Garda Paul Crowley says members will be given all the details needed to make an informed decision.
