Clare GP Says Efforts Are Being Made To Reduce Hospital Waiting Lists

A West Clare GP insists that all sides are doing everything possible to reduce waiting lists for outpatient appointments in the Mid-West.

It comes as figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund show that at the end of February last year 15 patients were waiting 18 months for outpatient appointments in the Mid-West.

But at the end of last month, that number jumped dramatically to 3,615.
