A Clare GP is issuing a fresh call for flu vaccines for healthcare workers across the country to be mandatory.
It comes as the HSE’s Winter Vaccination Programme is getting underway this week, which sees free flu jabs available at GPs and pharmacies.

People aged 65 and older, children aged 2 to 17 and pregnant woman are also eligible to avail of the doses.
However, Ennis-based Dr. Maire Finn says there’s an argument for those working in healthcare to have flu vaccines mandated compulsorily.
