The comments from Lahinch-based Doctor Michael Kelleher comes as the head of the HSE prepares to explain the Executive’s financial position for 2014.
Tony O’Brien appears before the Oireachtas Health Committee to discuss the agency’s Service Plan which includes one billion euro less in spending and the removal of up to 75,000 medical cards.
