A Clare Government TD says he’d like to see “more action at a faster pace” on three flood relief schemes in the works in this county.
The Department of Public Expenditure has confirmed the Shannon Town and Environs Flood Relief Scheme isn’t expected to be delivered until late 2032.

Kilkee’s scheme is due to be completed by the end of 2029 while Bunratty’s scheme is also in progress.
Bodyke Fine Gael Deputy Joe Cooney says he’ll be pushing for shorter timelines.
