Clare’s Oireachtas members are confident that any further delays on the development of the new controversial pier in Doolin will be kept to a minimum.
Local representatives in North Clare have expressed their disappointment that the bulk of the work on the 6 million euro project won’t take place now until next year.

It mean the new pier will not be available for most of the 2012 tourism season, but Clare government representative Joe Carey doesn’t believe the delays will run into 2013.
