Clare Government Senator Calls For Vaccine Boosters To Be Extended To All Ages

A Clare government representative is calling for booster Covid-19 vaccinations to be extended to all age-groups.

In a change of direction yesterday, the European Centre For Disease Control recommended countries ‘urgently’ consider giving boosters to over 40’s – this contrasts the advice issued by the health authority in September.

This latest development came on the same day when HSE Chief Executive, Paul Reid, stated that third doses wouldn’t be offered to the those over 50 until the end of December or beginning of January.
