A Clare government representative is calling for the Climate committee to be reconvened to address the country’s ‘worsening and precarious’ energy security.
An amber alert was in place for the country’s electricity supply for two consecutive days this week.
The warning came due to a generation shortfall, mainly due to low wind and limited electricity imports.
