Clare’s Fine Gael Senator is calling for clarity on the resumption of non-essential travel with the UK and the US.
The Government has confirmed that international travel will resume on July 19th with the adoption of the EU’s digital green cert.

No such date has been given for the resumption of the common travel corridor with the UK or transatlantic flights, which provide the bulk of air traffic at Shannon Airport.
Ennistymon-based Senator Martin Conway believes before that can resume, Aer Lingus needs to make clear its plans for Shannon flights going forward.
