A Clare Government Senator is branding a lack of pay restoration for Clarecare workers as ‘unfair’ and ‘unjustified’.
A number of workers at the Ennis-based non-profit agency are understood to have seen their pay – which was cut by 4 percent during the economic crash – restored, but others have not.

Those among the 420-strong staff who have had their pay restored to pre-crash levels are being remunerated by HSE funding, with those denied it being funded by Tusla.
Senator Timmy Dooley insists the issue should be addressed as soon as possible.
