With more and more Clare people holidaying at home, Gardaí in Clare are warning that with an increased demand for caravans comes the increased possibility of theft.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer is encouraging people to get an alarm fitted and to keep windows and doors locked at all times, even if only out for a short period.

Sergeant Triona Brooks says people should consider GPS tracking devices and uniquely marking various parts of the caravan, as well as taking photographs of any identifing features such as marks, scratches or dents.
