Clare Gardaí Urge People Not To Drink And Drive This Bank Holiday Weekend

Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer is appealing to people not to drink and drive this bank-holiday weekend.

The latest research from the Road Safety Authority shows 26% of drivers admitted to potentially being over the legal limit when driving the day after drinking.

Figures from An Garda Síochána, show there have been almost 1,400 drink and drug driving arrests made so far this year.
