Clare Gardaí Urge Motorists To “Arrive Alive” This St Brigid’s Bank Holiday

Clare Gardaí are urging motorists to “arrive alive” this bank holiday weekend.

An extensive Garda Roads Policing Operation is underway until 7am on Tuesday, in an effort to cut down in the number of fatal or serious injury collisions on the roads over the St Brigid’s Bank Holiday Weekend.

18 people have lost their lives on the roads so far this year and Gardaí are focusing on the offences of intoxicated driving, speeding, use of mobile phones and seatbelt offences this weekend as a means of preventing road deaths.
