Gardaí in Clare are reminding firearms licence holders of their obligation to ensure firearms are stored safely and securely at home, and while travelling to a shoot or hunt.
They say firearms must always be unloaded, transported in a case or sleeve, kept out of sight in a locked boot, and never left in the seating area of a vehicle.
