Clare Gardai urge caution to motorists on Bank Holiday Monday

Drivers in County Clare are being urged to reduce their speed and not to drink and drive as they return home after the bank holiday weekend.

Roads are expected to be particularly busy today as holiday makers travel home from the long weekend from all over the country.

So far this bank holiday weekend there has been 2 fatalities on Irish roads

Sergeant Brendan McDonagh, from the Clare Garda Traffic Corps says it’s up to everyone to prevent drunken drivers taking to the roads.
