Clare gardai are warning all road users to expect the unexpected over the Bank Holiday with plenty of activity on and around most routes.

There are several events taking place across the county including Kilrush’s National Famine Commemoration, as well festivals in Carrigaholt and Whitegate.
There’s also likely to be heavy machinary on many roads as efforts continue to supply fodder to hard hit farmers.
