Gardaí are urging business owners in Clare not to keep large amounts of cash on the premises overnight.
They’re also being encouraged to ensure that their CCTV hard drive is in a secure, tamper proof location.
It follows a burglary of a commercial business in the Roslevan Shopping Centre last week, in which cash was stolen, while the alarm and phone lines were cut.
