Gardaí will be out in force on Clare's roads over the coming weeks as part of their Christmas Road Safety campaign.

There’ll be increased checkpoints around the county with members on the look-out for driver fatigue, drink-drivers or those under the influence of illegal substances, as well as safety belt checks.
There’s a particular focus this year on drivers who have been out drinking the night before, who may still be suffering from the effects of Alcohol on the morning after.
