Gardaí seized three uninsured vehicles in Clare over the weekend.
After receiving reports over the manner of a motorist’s behaviour between Ballina and Birdhill, Gardaí stopped a blue Volkswagen saloon in the east of the county, which was later found to be without insurance.

While on Saturday, Gardaí in Ennis stopped two vehicles after their Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology triggered alerts.
One driver produced a fake insurance document, while the other was not named on the policy.
All vehicles were seized and the respective drivers will face a court date and a possible driving ban.
