Gardaí are investigating a spate of burglaries in recent days, particularly in the East of the county.
There have been 14 burglaries or attempted burglaries in the last ten days, at locations in Cratloe, Sixmilebridge, Kilmurry, Mountshannon, Whitegate and Broadford, as well as in Quilty, Ennistymon and Ennis.
A number of cars were also broken into in Sixmilebridge, Kilmurry and Cratloe and Gardaí suspect that these are linked.
Most of the burglaries took place between Sunday the 16th and Wednesday the 19th, while one, in the Whitegate area, saw a shotgun and ammunition among the items stolen.
A suspicious silver Ford Focus car, registered in 2004, was seen in the area where many of the crimes occurred.
