Clare Gardai Making Plans For ‘Supporting’ Halloween Celebrations

The Chief Superintendent of Clare’s Garda Division says plans are being worked on throughout this month to ensure Halloween celebrations can be carried out safely.

It follows a meeting of this county’s Joint Policing Committee this week, which heard public order offences here have dropped by 7 percent in the first eight months of the year.

Ennis Independent Councillor Ann Norton raised concerns at the briefing about resources being available to ensure Halloween is celebrated safely next month.
