The Clare Roads Policing Unit of an Garda Síochána have arrested a person for driving their car on its rims on the motorway.
Gardaí received reports of the dangerous practice taking place on the M18.

When they arrived on the scene, the car was found crashed and abandoned.
The driver was located nearby and tested positive for having consumed cocaine and cannabis.
They were subsequently arrested and further proceedings are to follow.
