Gardai will be out in force on Clare's road this Bank Holiday weekend.

Motorists are being advised that there will be extra checks in place across the county, targetting offences like speeding and drink driving.
There will also be a particular focus on drivers not wearing seatbelts and vehicles with defective lights.
Sergeant Darragh Molloy of the Clare Garda Traffic Corps has been telling me that they've seen a rise in the number of people not belting-up.
