Gardai in Clare are urging for anyone affected by the practice of illegal money lending to contact them.

The appeal comes after a major crackdown on criminal activity in Kilrush earlier this week in which 11 people were arrested as part of Operation Pay Day.
While the 5 men and 6 women have been released without charge, files are being prepared for the Director of Public Proscutions.
