Clare Gardaí are continuing to investigate a burglary and the theft of oil from a property over the Christmas Period.
Between 1:30pm and 2:30pm on December 22nd, the homeowner of a residence in Aughrim, Scariff returned home to find their door had been forced opened and a STIHL Chainsaw along with a quantity of toiletries had been stolen.

Elsewhere, Gardaí in Ennis are investigating a theft from a residence on the Clon Road, that occurred on St.Stephen’s Day, where the home owner noticed a strong smell of kerosene before finding that the pipe to the tank had been disconnected.
Anyone with information in relation to the incidents is advised to contact their nearest Garda Stations.
