Clare Gardai To Be Out In Force Over Bank Holiday Weekend

Clare Gardai will be out in force across the county’s roads this Bank Holiday weekend.

Motorists are being warned to drive at an appropriate speed over the next number of days, with more traffic expected on the roads now that travel within the county is permitted.

Gardai are also warning drivers not to drive while using their mobile phone and to ensure everyone in their vehicle is wearing a seatbelt, with 66 people having been killed or seriously injured on this weekend in the past five years.
