Clare Gardaí have arrested two people as part of an operation targeting drug trafficking.
A 30-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were arrested in Birdhill, Co. Tipperary yesterday afternoon, following the seizure of cocaine, with an estimated street value of 70,000 euro.

They’re being detained at Shannon Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug trafficking Act.
They can be held for up to 7 days.
The arrests were part of an ongoing operation by Clare Gardaí supported by the regional and national drugs units targeting drug trafficking in Clare.
