Clare’s Garda division is aiming to significantly increase its headcount with a new recruitment campaign underway.
Candidates aged from 18 to 49 can apply up until 3pm on February 27th online at publicjobs.ie, while open days will be held at stations throughout the county in the coming weeks.

There are currently 48 fewer Gardaí serving in Clare now than there were in 2009, a drop of over 14%.
Clare Community Policing Sergeant Dominic Regan says the job’s challenges are far outweighed by its rewards.
