Gardaí are advising motorists to drive with extreme care as subzero temperatures overnight have led to dangerous conditions on roads right across the county this morning.

There's reports of black ice on many minor roads and at entrances to housing and industrial estates, while dense fog is expected to remain in sheltered areas into the afternoon.
Anyone travelling from Clare into Limerick are being advised of treacherous conditions on the old Cratloe Road entering Limerick city, in particular.
While, padestrians are also urged to take care on footpaths and in laneways.
