A former Garda Sergeant who lost his life in a road crash in East Clare last week will be laid to rest today.
Long-time Broadford resident Andrew O’Riordan was killed in a single vehicle collision on Sunday on the R466 at Gortnaglough.

Gardaí are expecting significant traffic in Broadford from 10am this morning ahead of Andrew’s funeral mass in Broadford Church at 12noon.
Andrew is survived by his wife Stéphanie, children Amélie, Steffen, Gabrielle, Jonathan and Axel and wide circle of extended family and friends.
