Clare GAA is expressing confidence that a new public car park due to be provided on its lands will provide a vital revenue stream for years to come.

The county board has formed a joint venture with Clare County Council to provide a 200 space car park at the existing Cloister Car Park adjacent to Cusack Park.

The development will involve drainage, surfacing and landscaping works and its envisaged that the revamped facility will be open to the public by the end of this year.

Clare GAA Chief Operating Officer Deirdre Murphy says it will enhance the fan experience at the county grounds.
