Clare FM has further strengthened its position as the county’s leading radio station.
The latest JNLR/Ipsos listenership figures, released today, reaffirm radio’s enduring importance in Ireland, with a record 3.5 million people tuning in every week.
On average, listeners spend more than four hours each day enjoying live Irish radio.
The latest year-on-year figures show a 2% increase in Clare FM’s daily reach and weekly share, with the current IMRO Local Radio Station of the Year attracting more than 62,000 listeners each week.
Programme Director Padraic Flaherty says it’s a testament to the station’s trusted local service and strong connection with communities across the county.
“We’re absolutely delighted with these figures. They reflect the incredible loyalty of our listeners and the hard work and creativity of our entire team here. To see our figures grow like this is hugely encouraging.
“2026 is going to be a big year for the station. Our strategy is firmly focussed on delivering even more local news and sport, while playing the biggest hits.
“Also, very soon, we’ll be launching some exciting new shows, so lots to come.”
