A Clare FM journalist was presented with a national award for ladies football coverage last night.
Derrick Lynch received the accolade for his contribution to the promotion of the game, winning Journalist of the Year at the LGFA’s annual National Volunteer of the Year awards.

He was presented the prize by LGFA President Micheal Naughton.
Clare LGFA has congratulated Derrick on the award, describing it as ‘richly deserved’.
