The General Election campaign in Clare begins in earnest this morning with the first Clare FM election debate.

Five of the 14 declared candidiates here will go head-to-head just over three weeks before polling day on February 26th.
Pat Breen, Richard Cahill, Clare Colleran Molloy, Noeleen Moran and Ian Lynch will take part in this morning's debate, while the remaining candidates will clash on air over the coming weeks.
Today's debate will be broadcast on Clare FM's Morning Focus from 9am.
