16 Irish people, including two based in Clare, who’ve been detained by Israel will be brought to a detention facility south of Tel Aviv.
They include the Head of the Clare Public Participation Network Sarah Clancy and Fanore Woman Maureen Almai.

They’re being held by Israeli forces who stormed the Global Sumud Flotilla as it headed towards Gaza.
They may be asked to leave Israel or choose to appear before a deportation court.
The last boat in the Gaza aid flotilla is continuing to sail towards the enclave.
