A Clare film producer is appealing for young local talent to audition to be a part of a short film alongside a star studded cast including Paul Reid and Valerie O’Connor.
Winner of a first place award at The Boyne Valley Screenplay Festival, ‘The Parting’ is set to be largely shot in Furglan National School.

The film is produced by Elaine Walsh, who also hails from The Banner County, with three roles to be filled, including that of lead character Abbie.
The Kildysart native explains what she’s looking for from those interested in applying.
