A long standing Fianna Fáil west Clare Councillor is encouraging members of his party to attend clinics with Irish Water.

Bill Chambers attended the first of new monthly gatherings with the state utility yesterday along with Cathlaoirleach Cllr John Crowe and Cllr Johnny Flynn.
The issue had caused controversy in recent days with councillors airing their upset at the meetings being held privately, many said they wouldn't go along until it was a public gathering.
Cllr Chambers says he would encourage other members of Fianna Fáil to attend the next one.
