Clare farmers have welcomed the decision to award them a 50% advance on their key annual grant.

As the industry here continues to recover from the fodder crisis of last winter, it has been confirmed that the advance of farmers’ Single Farm Payments will be paid next month.
It’s after the EC Agriculture Commissioner approved a request for this to occur from the Irish Government.
