Clare farmers are being urged to give their support to a first of it’s kind Hedge Cutting Grant Scheme which has been launched in the county.

The 20 thousand euro initiative will see 25 euro per kilometre of hedgerow given to landowners who are entitled to the payment.
The pilot scheme is intended to deal with Local Road networks during the Winter/Spring season.
