Farmers in the Burren are set to recieve additional funding as part of government incentive scheme
The Minister for Agriculture has confirmed that 3 million euro in payments will be made available to farmers in the Burren Farming for Conservation Programme.

117 farmers in the Burren area’s of North Clare and South Galway are entitled to funding under the new three-year program – which aims to improve biodiversity, water quality, and the landscape of the region.
Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen says the funding is a sign of the government’s support and recognition of Burren farmers.
