Bus loads of Clare farmers are on their way to Dublin this morning to protest against the EU’s Mercosur deal.
The deal would increase access to Europe for Latin American nations – something Irish beef farmers feel would flood the market with cheap beef and undercut their already struggling industry.

The Beef Plan Movement is behind today’s protest at the Dáil and they’re calling on Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to acknowledge that there are grave concerns for their sector.
