There's been a 13% drop in the value of the pound against the euro since the British Public voted to leave the EU in June, resulting in a rise in the price of Irish agricultural produce in the UK.

Meanwhile, IBEC has today released a report which warns of further pain for exporters next year, with counties in the West of the country expected to be the hardest hit.

Clare Chairman of the ICMSA, Martin McMahon says a high number of farmers have held back on investing in their farms on account of the ongoing uncertainty.
