Clare Farmer Says Taoiseach Needs To Stop ‘Dancing Around The Handbag’ On Culling Herd Numbers

The Clare Chair of Independent Farmers Of Ireland says the Taoiseach needs to stop “dancing around the handbag” when it comes to culling herd numbers to meet methane reduction targets.

Micheal Martin yesterday addressed the COP26 Summit in Glasgow and committed to join the global pledge to reduce methane emissions by 30%.

Kilmurry McMahon farmer Seamus Shannon believes this will lead to the destruction of Irish agriculture.
