It’s claimed that Clare families looking to secure their first home could be forced to look beyond the county bounds.
Between October and December last year, the average price of a three bed and a four bed property here rose by €5,950 and €20,500 respectively.
Myhome.ie’s property price report for the final quarter of 2023, also shows that just 250 homes were available for purchase during this period, while the average time for a property to go to sale agreed here has now jumped from 3 to 5 months.
Managing Director of MyHome.ie Joanne Geary says while further supply is urgently needed here, there are some positives for buyers.
