Clare Environment Network Urges People To Have Their Say On Future Of Renewable Energy

The Clare Environment Network is urging people to have their say on the future of renewable energy.

The outgoing government have launched a consultation process to seek the views of the public on how to meet Ireland's target of  producing 16% of its energy from renewable sources by the year 2020.

Written submissions are being sought from both individual citizens and organisation and further information can be found on the website of the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources. 

The Co-ordinator of the Clare Environment Network, Theresa O'Donohoe says it offers people the opportunity to raise concerns over how their energy is delivered in the future.
